                                   President's Message - Fall 2019

Dear Kappa Sisters,

I hope that you have had a wonderful summer with family and friends!

I am honored and excited to be the 2019-2020 President of Lake Washington Alumnae Association on the Eastside as we look forward to the 150th anniversary of Kappa Kappa Gamma in 2020.

Our group believes in giving back to our community.  We are committed in our support by contributing to Hopelink, Friends of Youth and Little Bit Riding School.  We also participate in our fraternity sponsored ‘Reading is Fundamental’, partnering with Lake Hills and Stevenson Elementary Schools in the Bellevue School District.  We partner with these schools by supporting their Summer Reading Program and by donating dozens of new and gently used books for the children to take home for the summer.

We are proud of our giving to the Kappa Kappa Gamma Foundation and are recognized as being members of the Foundation Adelphi Society at the Bronze level for Associations having cumulative donations between $25,000 and $49,000.

Our programing committee has been busy this summer, planning inspiring and fun activities and programs for this upcoming year.  I hope these programs will spark your interest and you will join us for our events this year.

I’m looking forward to seeing new faces this year, renewing friendships, and sharing Kappa sisterhood!
